I created a game called Phoenix based on the game Galaxians. I have finished only the first level because there are so many arrays that I had to make. It gets very confusing. Does anyone think that it is a game worth finishing?

I'd say try and finish about 5 'small' games like 'Phoenix' as you said you've almost got it finished . While your reputation increases for your quality of game development skills for being one of the few that actually finish games.... well you get the idea.

It's best to try finish your games, then as your skill progress's start work on a couple commercial games and try make some money I've even created various 'small' finished games in my time:
Bunny Blast - FS: ParaTroopers - i'd name the other 2 but I never released them in the DB community.

The chances are though if you make around 5 commercial games only 1 of them will be even close to being successful.

Well it's worth finishing as an exercise, but Mame covers all these games. Maybe you should do something with it that changes the gameplay a bit. Just a new style of graphics is going to make it more interesting.
