Just heard on BBC news that the Playstation 3 is withdrawn in UK until Novemeber 06

Grrr!

I wonder whats wrong with it? Probably overheats or something?

I wouldn't worry about it, it's not like the delay is going to harm the release at all. They've no serious competition from anywhere (360? purlease.. Revolution? Not this year mate).

Bah. I doubt it will even make November. Just as incase I´m right I would like to state that it will come out at $400 in time for Xmas in USA and in europe some time spring next year. That´s no problem though. This gen has a quite a few games left in it yet. Zelda, FFXII, Ocami, MGS3S (in Europe) and....well that´s about it really. but how many 50€ games can someone get in a year anyway ?

I'd like to point out that the delay is not only in the uk, but the launch in total is delayed.. there will now be a worldwide launch in november of 2006.

A delay was always fairly likely - but at least this way us Europeans wil get the system along with the rest of you!
