ok i have made a simple chat client and i was wonder if my code isnt working becasue i need the enhacement pack or what. just to let you know this is in DBC no enhacments.

if your question is will multiplayer commands work without v1.13 then the answer is no

i have 1.13 but no enhacments. so i need enhacments or DBpro to run my program right.

yep you need enhancements for multiplayer.

Dunno, but there are some enhancements that only work if you buy Dark Matter.

Multiplayer and DLLs only work with Enhancement pack. I think.

Has anyone made a basic working chat program that they could post? There seems to be a lot of confusion about how they work. Client/server type would be preferable. That would be greatly appreciated.

yup! theres no place like 127.0.0.1, just open a server and then connect to it via the client at 127.0.0.1 (thats the machines own internal port) and it will connect to the server (or at least i think thats right, it`s a couple of years or more since I played about with networking.



I don`t care what you say, theres no way the commander of a Kamakasi Squadron got promoted up through the ranks.
