I may get flamed for this, as I haven't actually learned to program yet, but I have started designing the first game I want to make (basically Pong). I'm a lot better at design/drawing than I am at programming, so I'll probably be getting Hands on Darkbasic Pro.

I really like your starting design, but the title 'xtreme pong' doesn't seem to fit the game from the picture. How much more is there to this game than the standard pong game play?

i think, you shouldnt work that hard on the theme of some PONG game though

@Torrey - it's just 100% the normal pong game, but with a lot of unnessesary sounds and effects

@GogetaX - it was just an excuse to do a design

It looks really nice , I like that smoke-thing-background, but I agree with Torrey, that title image doesn´t fit at all.
