I have a couple of questions about the FPS creator that i want to ask before i purchase the program.
1. can you import .gmax files into the FPSC?
2. can you import .wav files into the FPSC?
3. how many different guns come with the FPSC?
thanks

Yes, please post in the FPSC Product Chat forum, or any FPSC forum related to what you are looking for

But now when the he knows there is a forum for it, the thread is still here... So why just don't help him? Else this thread is total waste. And Silver... You should calm down a bit...

No. You need to convert them to other file formats supported by FPSC.

Yes.

Well... On the back of the FPSC Case, there stands 18 weapons... So I guess that's how many... But with some hard work, you can import your own.

BroadBand, changing the world, one computer at a time.

On a similar note Click Me
Features that Microsoft is too stupid to impliment. We will implement turning your computer into a server, adding some pointless visual styles, slowing your system down. (Man, XP boots using nearly 230 ram, and I can use a Opimizer and get 100MB freed)

Discreet’s gmax is a free 3D modeling and animation tool based on their award-winning 3ds max®. gmax allows gamers to create their own in-game content for gmax enabled games like these:

Are you saying this is false advertisement? I'll find the ToU, EUA, ToA, LA, or whatever they call it.

Ehm..it is for PUTING YOUR MODELS IN YOUR FAVOURITE GAMES, by that they dont mean YOUR games that YOU`we made, and i have proof, think a little, why would they give a free version that is very good, better then many $100 eaven $200 3d modeling apps ?

I cant find the thread where a guy from descreet explained it clearly.. but think a little, why havent they put any other format except for a renderer ?

And you should of copyed a bit more, and see that it enables you to make models for quake and such games, NOT FOR YOUR OWN GAMES !

1. Nope you can't import gmax files. Not practical to even implement.
2. Yes you can import wav files.
3. About 18 weapons inclusive of grenade and bazooka types. No knives etc.

It's not illegal to use gmax for any purpose. Read the eula.

This fight was done and dusted years ago on other forums. The head of discreet wasn't worried about it, probably because he knew any serious artist would use a proper version of max anyway (hot or not).

It's not much good, and it's being canned soon so I guess it's a moot point anyway.
