Is it possible to have an object move to were ever the mouse is at that present time? I tried aomthing that didnt work.


that doesnt work. As soon as you move the mouse, the object disappears.
any one know to do this feat?

Is this the whole code? If it is, you'll need to do a few things...

1)turn on sync
2)turn autocam off
3)move the camera back (say 0,0,-200, maybe closer)
4)sync at the end of the loop (the syncing is kind of a precaution)

The camera is what brings everything it can "see" onto your screen... move that to somewhere where the cube comes into the camera's view.

As for sync, this tells the computer/DB to perform all the commands before it in one go.

try hitting the "1" key inside the program. it goes off the screen, very odd. working on it some more

I tried that, and it had a ton of bugs. Then it just didnt work thx forthe thought though, thats wut counts...

If he didnt know what a camera is then it sounds like hes just pasting your code into his program anywhere and assuming it will work.

Look up the Pick object command theres an example there that allows you to move 3d objects with the mouse this can be modified to do what you are asking for.

Whats the RED button for ?
