hi, when i put my hollow cylinder in fpsc it looks ok from the side but from inside its invisible any ideas?

Did it look like the one on the left in this pic? If so, instead of just making a cylinder and deleting the faces at the end, make a tube as shown at the right of the pic. Then it will not be invisible from the inside.

I know Karate, Kung Fu, and 47 other dangerous words...

I agree with Havok; I made a container awhile back with walls that were too thin (almost the same as deleting the inside faces), and had the same effect you're describing.

Just like Havok showed; hollow out a tube with another tube, using Boolean Subtraction.

Oh, right. I wasn't aware as to what program you were using. I'll have to look at my copy of Milkshape to see if it has Booleans. I'll get back to you later (unless someone else has an answer now).

Milkshape has a tube already made. Go to Tools>Extended Primitives>Cylinders>Tube and then the tube shows up in the viewports. There are also a bunch of other primitives that are pretty cool.
