I'm pretty new to darkbasic and im not too good at programing but im learning. I'm a good artist so i wanna learn how to make the graphics at the same time I'm learning to program. So my question is how do i make characters of my own and put them in my games and what programs do i use which ones are cheapest and best? Thanks

i looked at the site but it looks like you can only make action hero guys and evil monsters from half life and max pain can any thing be made

Its a modeller! Anything you like can be made
Simple uses Milkshape I think, and he's the best modeller here! A real pro!

Yeah that was kind of a dumb question. Anyway i got the program now and im using it but dont know how to. Those tutorials arent very useful on the site where can i get tutorials on how to use the controls?

okay i got the program and im getting used to it but i was wondering if you can make objects transparent like a piece of glass or whatever and if so how and also where i can get some bitmaps
