Yes,it is!

Hi,David. I'm one of the T.Ed Beta Testers.

I encourage you to go to http://www.d-grafix.com/ for a brief break down on t.Eds current progress and very soon to be 4.0 release.

Quote: "1 can u place objects with it? like x objects? or 3ds?"

.x and .b3d I can confirm as of the upcoming release. Though I do beleive .3ds is either already an option as well or is well on its way to being an option.

Quote: "2 how do i load it into dbp?"

I my self load with code. I havent tried saving with a mesh imported in yet

I have every single texture I own placed in my Textures directory
for my Beta. You simply click "Replace Texture" to switch up textures when need be. Half a seconds effort.

I cant give a sound answer to that. Matter of opinion. I my self
am very content with it.

t.Eds been around for awhile and has been consistant with its progress and support.

In t.ED

In WIP

Well I would say the answer to numner 4 is no.
It does not look as good in DBP as it does in ted. Ive had to load using the supertexture render and the quality is not as good as it is in ted. However it is acceptable. Over all i a very pleased wit my purchase of ted.
Once these extras are added it will be even more usefull.

Whats the RED button for ?

hello everyone,

Ted 4 is just about ready, should be any day now. Sorry its taken so long its had vast chunks of code rewritten, so lots of bugs needed fixing.

hopefully the 25th will be the day

Ted can do props, it saves them in a really easy to parse data file (full spec given) that does everything from setting the fog, camera range and water height to loading back in the X format terrain blocks correctly. The software keeps only one copy of each prop (ie tree) and copys it from the source mesh where needed. The advantage of this system is you can cull unwanted props, and replace them as needed, instead of loading a massive mesh file.

New Shadow types: Terrain Stencil and alphascan:

Ambient lit shadows mixed with DirectX lighting:

The bb version of this loader is virtually finished, which should convert easily to DB without much fuss. Im still looking for a talented DB programmer to help write the conversion, im not so familiar with DB and i only own classic(but im learning

Are the SkyBoxes able to be exported to a .x file and are they part of TED ?

Just wondering if the screen shots are direct exports and how they are "called" in DBPRo ?

AS with our friend at the start of the thread, the trial doesn't allow exports so I'm not 100% sure and have not had a chance to play.. Is the a DBPRO TED Tutorial to allow us to learn how to code TED in DBPRO ? THX
