Hey all... iam just posting this here saying that you may not see me for a while do to many techinical problems....

-Moniter still acting up (iam finally gonna send it in for repair..)
-Computer is now acting up...(started today like a few hours ago)
-I wonder if Google Video player has anything to blame....(I dont think so because I dont have to run it for the problem to happen...but it happens when I get to a certain part on it too....)

It seems luck is against me all the sudden....my computer has started to do random blackouts where the video and sound stops and I cant get it working until I turn it off by button or pull the plug... I dont know why this is happening but iam gonna try and fix this problem so I may go missing for a few weeks....well have fun without me for a while

[BIOS said "System failed CPU test when I started it before this run....I could not see or do anything...the notice was played through my speakers...and I have been getting OS crash messages + my BIOS is saying Overclocking failed and reverting to last settings...nothing is being OCed....so I dont know....so progress on Daikanu Online is coming to a major hault till I can figure this problem out....]

specs...
Microsoft Windows XP SP2 Home Edition (OEM)
ASUS P4C800-E DELUXE Mother board (OEM)
3.0 GHZ HT Intel P4 (OEM)
1024 RAM DDR (OEM)

Hey does anyone think why they may think this is happening? o_o;

it will boot normally and I can enter XP, I can use it for like 5 mins, I can do anything and it works fine until that time is up....then the computer just craps...I hear the CPU fan speed up and notice that the CPU temp rises from 41c to 60c and then the thing just craps agian...after this happens I cannot see anything on my moniter and all sounds stop...I dont know why this started...it started yesterday while I was programming in DBP...I dont think its a virus..may be but I have yet to find anything.....and when I restart it (i have to hold the power button it will run the mobo fine...and have the normal XP loading screen then before I get to the part where you select users it justs stops showing video and sounds... I have to enter safe mode then restart for it to work normally...iam running it in safe mode now...but this really sucks...and on top of that I have to send my moniter in for repair...it just goes out randomly....>_>

I would reccommend backing up all your important files, wiping the hd, and reinstalling windows...

agreed, but I'd find out if the thing is overheating because thats what it sounds like, but maybe the bios is wigging out and thinks its overheating when its not. That mobo is no too old maybe there is a flash update for it and you may want to reset the thing as well first.

sorry your pc is crapping out, hopefully its something that can be fixed not too painfully
