I have a finished game which works, but, at the risk of sounding dumb, I dunno whadda do with it.

ideally i would be able to save it on a CDROM that friends without DB could play.

Help!

Just zip it and put it online (like attach it to one of your posts for example) so that other people can download it. What exactly are you having trouble with?

When you compile your game, it creates an EXE file (yourgamename.exe. In order for other people to play you need to send them the exe and all of the required media that you used in the game. Make sure you keep the same folder structure, put everything into a zip file, and upload it.

Use the Build Final menu item to make a Fully working independent EXE.

Then it will work on all computers with a 3D graphic card, and DirectX 7 upwards.

My game is a 2D stickfight style game but its sort of an RPG. It doesn't have a great deal of decent programming, just a lot of advanced calculus that is probably unnecessary. Its embarassingly basic.

i don't know whether I should post it on here because It has various spoof references to films I don't like, and one of the characters has the face of some guy I know. i might get sued by the film company or something.
