I have decided that I, would do a Written Tutorial, instead of a Video- For The Tutorial you will need:

DDS Converter (can be found here in the forums)
and paint, or any other Drawing/photo editing program

In this Tutorial we will play a little with Colonel X,
First you open the DDS Converter, then goto Files/entitybank/scifi/characters(in the program), then you select the file called
Col-X_1_D2.dds, then you change the output format to jpg, and select the output folder to be files/Entitybank/user.
then you open the file in Paint, or whatever program you have, then draw what you want to draw on him.
Then, you open the DDS converter again, and goto Files/entitybank/user, then select the Col-X_1_D2.jpg (the one you edited) and convert it to TGA or DDS,
In FPSC you then put Colonel X in your Level, right click at him, and change his Texture to The New file you edited.

I Hope this helps

Nice. thanks for the program.

But When I right click on the character and change the texture, it still reverts back to the default texture. Any Idea why?

so I unwrapped em and wrapped them all up again but they dont DO anything. How do I get them to act like the original models?

I have tried right clicking and changing the behavior but they just sit there. What am I missing?

Yes you have to choose the dds file you want to convert to jpg or other file type's, then it automatically shut down and your converted file will be in the map where your chosen your dds file. And then when finshed retexturing just use dds converter to convert back 2 dds

Cheers
