Thinking about making a whole bunch of very cool sounds. I have a nice studio with great equipment. On the .wav file can we go with 16 bit 44.1 stereo or are we limited to 8 bit .wav files ?. Going to make very cool background music, voices, weird sounds, etc.
I can't find it it the manual or search on the forums.
Let me know if you know the answer. Thanks, whyrag

.ogg works much better. Use Audacity, a free audio editor. Import your .wav and export as .ogg

Getix Interactive and Nanovision. Good Combo.

Thank you, I will look into that today.

Edit. Just looked into that and it looks great.

I will be recording with cakewalk Sonar 5 producer edition . Will start next week on this project. Should sound very nice ! I will record in 24 bit stereo and then export each file to .ogg .
I will post a couple files by next weekend for an example of what I will be working on. Thanks again, whyrag
