It ran at 16 frames per second for me. FIX THIS NOW!

At least farting ferrets are better than stinky stoats.

pretty cool. but to make it cooler, the limbs on the character should rotate while walking.

I get around 50 FPS but I die in the first second of play before I get chance to tell what is happening. I suppose the FPS on your machine is lower so the game runs slower. Perhaps you should try timer based movement instead, so that it runs the same speed on all machines.

It only runs at 57 FPS here. And yet the game's pace is too fast. I don't have time to defend myself before I die.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
1GB DDR-SDRAM (May increase to 2GB one day)
512MB ATI Radeon X1800 Series - Finally! A card that does pixel shaders correctly!

fps = 3...

Changed the value at the top from 10 to 100, and then I got 7 fps.

This is a simple tutorial I made on timer based movements. Should start you in the right direction.
Hope it helps.

err 19FPS on a P4 3.0ghz with 1GB of ram and a Radeon 9600XT 256 is seriously a problem, especially seeing as how the game graphics is so simple anyways dude

check out the post on the DBC board about how to optimize your game

if its your first try at making a game though, well done!
