hey everybody, I have a live radio but I dont want people to download the .pls file. Does anybody know how to embed a media player that plays .pls files on a site. If you do please post the html code or give me a site to find more info.

Thank-You in advance

I can't help you with a .pls file, but if you find some way of converting it to wav then you could try

between your body tags.

Embed windows media player and (assuming you're using shoutcast) set the url to "http://host:port" - don't add listen.pls to it and the embedded WMP should be able to play it fine.

if he's using shoutcast, then there's no solid way to prevent people from getting the playlist.......

unless, the player reading the pls file stays controlled by server and on the server. There's a java applet that'll play shoutcast and whatever else.
