im minnesotan.....but dont blame me, oh, and by the way, the Daily Show with john stuart did a skit on a womens prison in my town, and what they neglect to mention throughout the entire clip is that it is right across the street from an elementary school.

Warning: some censored strong language in the clip:

@TDP - What does that have to do with the topic?

Vonage should be sued to high heaven for this one. Basically they had a 911 service on the VOIP, which is the law, but when he dialed it because his house was on fire they put him on HOLD. Can you imagine being placed on hold on a 911 call?

"This is 911, please put your emergency on hold for the next available operator. Your call will be answered in the order in which it was recieved, or as soon as our outsourcing routers find an Indian to help you."

The guy probably just didn't register his information with Vonage. they've been hounding me forever about it, even though I keep telling them I live in Okinawa.

I'm sure his story sounds better if he leaves that part out, though. I'm sure it would be more profitable if it was purely Vonage's fault.

I'd blame Vonage too. But unless the guy was trapped inside the house, couldn't he just go to a neighbor's house and call?
