Hello, I made a new texture for one of the enemies in FPSC. The texture is in DDS format. When I right click on the entity then scroll down to the part that allows me to change the texture, and I change the texture to that of the new one I made, the texture does not show up on the enemy model, instead it just has the same default texture???? WHY? It works for other entities but not for any of the enemies? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

Yes, tried every possible file format, I am telling you it is nothing to do with file format it is, I can not texture an enemy entity with a new texture. I can texture entities such as tables an chairs just fine. It is nothing to do with file format...

DXTBmp. http://fly.to/mwgfx/#
It can convert from DDS to 24bit bmp to tga/tga with alpha
and back to DDS.

I would use that to extract the texture then use Paint Shop Pro or
Photoshop then convert back to tga/DDS etc. I also noticed that jpg
somewhat works with the skinning with models as well. Mostly for
segments at 256x256/512x512.

And don't forget to direct the tga/DDS file in the FPE file for characters. For some models yes tga, Others jpg and segs.

You need to make a new entity or delete the DBO And BIN file for the object, then edit the FPE and change texture line-

Check my website========Free segments!!

yeah. go into the FPE and change the file tree for the default texture to your texture.
and delete the DBO and BIN files so it makes the changes.

hope this helps ya,
