Im new to DB but not programming(Not even sure im doing this right)
Im good at 2D and 3D(The matrixes and the models that come with DB and DMatter)
But i need to know how to create my own 3D models(probably a stupid question)
But please help, everything seems to not be an X format extension.
I take it i can use the software that comes with DarkBasic, can I?

I would recommend Milkshape 3D, it is very cheap (20 bucks) and you can make literally anything you want with it. Perfect for beginners and pros alike

I have another query, if you would be so kind to help me.
(Im not really like this, I am just writing polite because im new)
Working on a r-type game, done all of basics weapons and ememies as such , but i get slow done when the Worlds scrolls across. I have used several screen sized sprites that just scroll along to the left. Do you think that perhaps if i cut up the sprites into smaller sections that it wouldnt matter, or does anyone have a better idea? Also how do you lot get those pictures with your name. Did I miss something?

OK, for the slow down, your models may be too high poly, which means they are too high in detail, same thing with your sprites. Cutting the sprite up would actually slow it down, because the engine is rendering more sprites.

To get an image by your name, find an image on the web and RIGHT CLICK on it. First, find dimensions, and make sure they arent too too big (for they will be resized to 50*50) I would make sure its no more than 100*100. Drag down to PROPERTIES and there will be a URL there. HIGHLIGHT the URL and COPY it to your clipboard (CTRL+C) and then go and edit your profile, by clicking PROFILE on the bottom of your page while at the forums. Then click DISPLAY, and go to the text space where it says AVATAR and CLICK in that space. Next, press CTRL+V and your URL should apper in the AVATAR TEXT BOX. Below that box, there is a drag down box labled AVAILABLE AVATARS. Make sure that box reads
-No avatar Selected- Next, click update profile, and BOOM!

Hope that helps Being polite is ALWAYS a good thing x-d
