hey I am working on a game and i need to fix my collision i have basically the same coding as here http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=58053&b=10 pretty much but... i want to make it so if i reverse into a wall it will detect and go forward not back.
I have thought of one way but i am at school so i can not test it so i will post here and if anyone knows a better way they can post it here below is what i was thinking

You can store the last position of the object, and put the object there when it collides. That will put it forwards or backwards depending on which direction it is moving when it collides.
