The idea is to create a realistic practical shooting game. I'm good at coding and decent in shooting Glock but lousy in 3D modelling. Formula drivers play console games before races to practice circuits, but there's no similar product for practical shooters.

I could really use some help. Some of the models that I need:

a SWAT guy, walks and runs like Jack Bauer

pistol models (H&K USP, Glock etc.)

shotgun models (Benelli etc.)

rifle models (AK47, Saiga etc.)

cardboard targets

steel plates

Basically I need everything that you can find from a normal indoor/outdoor shooting range. Volunteers?

Look, i know you are new to the forums but you CAN NOT just request 3d models of someone. It takes alot of effort to model and as far as I know people will only model for you IF you provide evidence of something worth the effort. What you have given is a short description nothing special. Search the internet I'm sure there are a few free models for download out there, or just buy some software and model them yourself, you make get there in the end if you practice. Just please remember for the future. Thanks.

It's an interesting idea though; it could be worth looking into.

I think all of us from time to time have had our shot at raping that site....

But certianly the swat guy is on the site... if you look in your entity tab and goto general then items there is a mosberg shotgun there.... not the greatest but its there....

The game does come with 3 seperate pistols still not the best but one in the sci-fi section okay that one doesnt count okay 2 pistols one in the general area and the second one in your ww2 section

There are also rifles there to but not the ones your asking for...You may find these at turbosquid.com but then your gonna need to readup on how to convert your model etc etc... "gotta let him do some searching for himself" Hint look at the sticky's in this forum for a 3ds to x converter

And if you got the segment creator or magicfps2 "highly suggested" sinister I get a commision for this right j/k but the steel plate wont be a problem and you can google the texture..

hmmm targets... I know I have seen a nice one on turbosquid.com I believe it was in 3ds format but I think they wanted a whole dollar USA for it...

I hope some of this is helpfull. Welcome to the forums...YEAH!!!! I am no longer the new guy

Have you downloaded your CLiPs today.

Ok, a bit of background. I'm over 30 years old it-specialist from Finland who knows how to google for things I've coded my first game with Vic-20 over 20 years ago. I also shoot practical and yes with real handguns. I also have friends who compete in this sport. Before every competition, they receive the stage descriptions. Every competitor has to go through those descriptions in their mind and decide the best way to complete every stage. Ok, you can now imagine where I'm going. A computer game with realistic levels could help to memorize the stages a lot better than just processing it inside your head. The game could also be a good way to teach the basic rules for rookies.

I don't expect anyone to spend too much of their free time for my game project. There are about a million sites with keywords free 3D models, so going through them is quite a job if you need something spesific. I wonder why all the sites use the keyword "free" even if the content they offer is commercial. Hmm... let me think. I did find a swat guy, but there are lots of other models that I need. Glock 17 for example is so common pistol that someone has surely made a model from it.

But I'm sorry if I offended someone's feelings by asking a newbie's question, well not really. Everyone's a newbie in some phase. But thanks for the links guys, I appreciate it. Cheers.
