hi is it possible to make a dba file which loads all the media in my game and then include it in my game file and lookup the media file from it? i am having problems doing this not sure if it is me or if it is possible .

i have made a little example to illustrate what i mean:

media.dba


game.dba

Is this DBP or DBC?....dont have any experience of DBC but it may still apply......

From what I understand (which isn't much ) any included files can only contain functions.....so if you put all your loading stuff in a function, then it should work

so:

media.dba


game.dba


Somebody may have to correct me if I am wrong there...

Benoj. the problem was that you had a "/" infront of your stuff which would not load it.
if you take those slashes out it should work.

no i didnt when it was in the compiler, i dont know why but sometimes when i type/copy stuff to the forums, it adds in / and \ its really wierd
