Do I need to make the HUD a .dds file? I don't see where I can import a .png?

Yeah, only tga, dds, or bmp. If you save as bmp, make a transparent areas black (RGB 0 0 0).

Still, no one is answering me completely. How do I get it in the game and align it? I can make it a .bmp.

When in Build Game dialog, in level settings, edit the global script. (see attached image). The names of each value are pretty self-explanatory
