I have a feeling this might not be such a good idea but im gonna post it anyway.
Wat is everyone's favorite bands?

Mine would probably be Disturbed, Green Day, Mindless Self Indulgence, System of a Down, and O-Zone.

No! - NO UPLOADING COPYRIGHTED MEDIA!

Trying to get us in trouble with the Kasabian mafia or something?

Mine would be Pearl Jam, but I like SOAD, QOTS, Korn, stuff like that.

@Van

Woo! Pearl Jam!

But my favourite would have to be Guns n' Roses - Yeah, I know it's a little controversial, but they're great anyway

I just thought I would say that favourite band doesn't mean a list of a hundred bands that you listen to.

if i listed all the bands i listen to, it would be a lot longer, theres a lot of bands i just listen to once a month or so, or only like 1 or 2 songs from that i didnt write down.

LOL 420, that's about every band I ever heard of!

I though I had quite diverse taste.

See, I don't understand how you can listen to Korn, then Andrew WK, that's like ketchup on veal , or how you can listen to Good Charlette at all!.

Zoto,
PJ rock - new studio album out soon as well, looking forward to that, now that they're completely free from contracts it should be an interesting album.

Favourite at the moment is 'We are Scientists'. Just got their album, and it far exceeds what I expected.

I highly recommend them

RADIOHEAD (like I haven't made that clear by now, lol), Blur, Portishead, Bjork, Beastie Boys, Sonic Youth, Cake, Weezer, Face to Face, Jurassic 5, The Roots, Wu Tang (there was my little hip-hop section), The Beatles, Doves (sub-sub), David Bowie, The Who, Led Zeppelin, some of Zappa's stuff, Sly & The Family Stone, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin (greatest female vocalist ever, hehe), Cibo Matto, Mr. Oizo, Primus, International Noise Conspiracy, Afghan Whigs, some stuff by Velvet Underground, and I think for good measure I should throw in the Foo Fighters, although I only really liked their (his) first album.

I'm still in the process of trying to find some good music.

90% of the stuff you guys listed just creeps the hell out of me. Anyone know some cool industrial music?

@Joe Cooning
I've finally found a sane mind on these forums.

In addition to the incredibly talented Billy Joel I also enjoy:
Kansas
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
Slightly Stoopid
Loggins & Messina
Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band
Styx
Herbie Hancock
Eric Clapton
Matisyahu
Jimi Hendrix
Steve Miller
Phil Collins

Mostly old stuff and jazz, I've heard a couple of pretty good modern bands, like Unwritten Law and Audioslave, but I don't listen to them regularly.

Soapy: I think their alright, a litte overhyped.

Mine is either The Stills, or The Arcade Fire. Although lately I have listened to a lot of Wolf Parade, Belle & Sebastian, and The Boy Least Likely To

You can never ask me that question, for one reason, I don't know the answer, I could pick some of the my favourites I've been listening to recently, and some people I really like, oh and my taste is varied, as you could say from Slayer to Bach lol

Well, I've listened to a lot of Damien Rice, I just love the song Eskimo where he just gets that Opera singer in, its so nice.

With Shadows Fall I can't get my head around their riffs, they just rule so hard, and In Flames does something to amaze me to,

But I also love *breathe in*

Jimi Hendrix
Marilyn Manson
Sum 41
Rancid
Muse
Evenessence
Nightwish
Lucuna Coil
Dead Kennedies
Pavorotti
Japanese tradional stuff

Ill Nino
Soul Fly
Rage Against the Machine
Metallica
Nine Inch Nails
Damage Plan
Devil Driver
Coal Chamber
Arch Enemy
Led Zepplin
Black Sabbath
Ozzy Ozbourne
Black Label Society
Dragon Force (Z, bad joke sorry)

And my favourites still continue
