You can't do that here, you need to make it yourself... maybe get some help once you've made progress - oh, and a multiplayer FPS isn't simple, FPS games are hard enough to make.

start coding a small FPS where you can walk aroung your level with a character so other people can see you, and you can shoot. Then start on the multiplayer, i tried multiplayer and it's murder so it mightn take you a while.

You should probably go to:

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=41284&b=8

Just so you know, it is hard to create a multiplayer fps, and i doubt you will be able to code it all, judging by your join date. You should probably look for some tutorials before diving into DB(P). It will take you a long time, even though DarkBASIC is very simple. At least you didn't choose to make an MMORPG.

dont use fps creator, it doesnt have nearly enough the independency of dbpro. its easier but you cant do everything you want. If your looking to only make a game that you will play and you dont want to do nething else then use fps creator.

o rite, srry 4 double post, neway for the multiplayer fps, you should design the fps 1st. i would suggest using spheres and a collision dll. im guessing you know how to move. For levers i dont know how 2 except make a sphere, hide it, attach the lever as a limb and then do something like if keystate(3)=1 then explosion(111,111,111, 222,222,222,500)
just somethin. keystate is the key, duh. Explosion is a function with x,y,z,red, green, blue, size
red green blue doesnt have to be put if your using a textured model and you probably would want to make the object transparent a bit. Thats only if you want an explosion when you pull the lever but thats just an example. one thing though- if it was that easy to make one i would have made one.... actually i wouldnt cuz i like medival but.... whatever

I think you should make your FPS, then try getting help with your multiplayer feature.

I have said it many places, TGC should have a DarkBasic Multiplayer Database!

Why can't they just make a server for Multiplayer?

Why? Why? Because with all those games running on one server, imagine the speed of it!

If you have two or more computers in your house you can create a network, and test your way with multiplayer. And there is a helpfile with the multiplayer basics somewhere (havent read it, but Ive seen it) among the helpfiles. And if you run into problems you cant solve yourself, well, thats what the forum is for.

Hope it helps. Goodluck.
