Really it isn't a big deal but i beleive it was something like "i didn't fail i just found 100 ways that arent it --thomas edison" so i don't know how that would be elgible for erasing.

there was a forum crash yeasterday, it was offline for the whole afternoon, maybe part of the database was corrupted and they had to erase some of it?

That would probably be it, an active thread could definitely still have that old signature in it. Just revert your sig back to the other one and it'll be fine.

I think his reality was offset and he erased his own sig and don't remember it.
