I heard somebody saying that \"all my black walls turn clear\" well IDEA you could in theory get cling film (Plastic wrap)and scrunch it up unravel it scan it in using a scanner and invert the colours do you think it will work?

No, it will look like taty cling film. For see through textures you need to make a semi transparant image using paint shop pro or another package.
