It will come. Next year be prepared for a new epic film from none other than FOX. A tale of courage, romance, vengence, and betrayel.

The Simpsons.Movie.

http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/10617/The-Simpsons-Movie-Confirmed-in-Teaser-Trailer/

I'm not sure if this is true or some April Fool's Prank considering it was posted on the 31st. I'm not sure because it says Garfield's A Tale of Two Kitties was shown before it and I know that is the movie sequel to Garfield ment to hit this year. Can anyone confimr this?

Yes, they are quite good at reporting about the upcoming nothing having to do with anything important, especially the truth.

if the movie is coming out
and if they are having auditions...

I can play both Selma and Thelma.

I can do their voices really good as well as Marge too.

but given the choice of doing a voice and/or playing a character..
I wouldn't mind playing either McBain or that comic book store owner.

cheers

It's long overdue, but will it be a cartoon?

thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!

It's true: 99.999% of new yorkers hate fox news... including me. I don't trust anyone who leans so far to the right that the world's axis is tilting off-center because of it But that's all I'll say about that, hehe

I sort of don't want them to make a Simpson's movie... why should they? The show is fantastic the way it is and the format won't work for a movie. I'll bet anyone, right here and right now, $20 cash that when this movie comes out, most people will hate it. Any takers?

The Simpsons are so good at parodying movies, shows and personalities that I think they could pull off a full-length movie without a problem.

As opposed to the far leaning left, i.e. CNN?

But yes, I agree that the Simpsons movie will probably be lame. It will also be raunchy, or so I hear.

Raunchy? That would ruin it I think.

Guess the scenario.........................

My Simpsons movie would be....

The town folk start to behave in an odd way, like they have been replaced... Pods are found around the place, and in the school. Homer is going out at night on his own, and Bart sneakily watches through the crack in the door as he returns. Homer refuses to eat a doughnut!!!

Sort of thing.....

I'm not looking forward to it. The new simpsons episodes are pretty crap really, I guess they must be running out of ideas. Whatever's happened they're not as good as the old ones.
I'm gonna say that it'll end up having a huge hype yet be totally dissapointing.

I think more than the new episodes sucking is more the new episodes are the same cliches that the old episodes had so its just not funny anymore. Must be hard for them to get out of the rut where the characters can only do so much.

I heard about this before. What I think they said was they wanted to do a movie soon because they were running out of ideas. Then they could get the rest of the good ones out. Also, notice how Anime Blood said that voice work has apparently started. Well if it has, and they are still waiting until next summer to release it, it must mean that they are trying to take the time to make it good. (I hope)

CNN leans to the left? the Times I could agree with, but CNN doesn't usually criticize anyone (which I tend to have a problem with). Then again, I usually get my news from msnbc If CNN does lean left, it isn't nearly as much/ hard as Fox leans right. They spin every story into a pro-conservative story. Like the wiretapping/ NSA thing, they made it sound like Bush was doing great things by illegally tapping our phones and whatnot. I'm not trying to start a political debate, I'm just pointing out that Fox leans very heavily in favor of Bush and his cohorts.

The Family Guy movie barely made any money... the Simpsons will end up performing poorly in the box office as well. Besides, the entire format of the Simpsons is: Something is already going on, which leads to something else that's completely off-topic, which leads to a climax, into a resolution, and then into a moral, before ending with a closing joke. Go watch a few episodes of the Simpsons and you'll see what I mean. That format wouldn't work that well in a movie, because movies are too long for that. I'll see it when it comes on HBO... other than that, I'm not going to pay for something I'm pretty sure I won't like.

I couldn't give two beavers tails how much money the Family Guy movie made, or the Simpsons movie will make, all that really matters is if I like it or not

And yes, I'd have to second the FoxNews thing... but I'll leave that for another day

You can get bored with any repeating theme. Some of my favourites....

Star Trek Voyager................ bored of.
The Simpsons..................... bored of.
The Weakest Link................. bored of.
Who wants to be a Millionair..... bored of.
You've been framed............... bored of.
Toy Story........................ bored of.

I think a film of the Simpsons is like lighting a new candle at least.

If you don't want these topics to turn into political debates, then stop bringing that stuff up

They should do a movie with the Simpsons and Futurama together.
