I say @Rich but if there's anyone here with an Intel Mac running windows then feel free to answer.

@Rich,
Way back in this thread: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=69718&b=2 you mentioned one of your friends had ordered a Macbook, I'm guessing they've got it by now.

Unless you've been hiding under a particularly large rock you'll know that a few weeks ago someone found out how to put windows xp on an Intel Mac (and told everyone else how to do it).

I was just wondering if your friend's put xp on their Mac, and if so, have they tried running DB on it. I don't have an Intel Mac (or an xp install disc for that matter) but was just curious as to whether or not it would work.

p.s. Now that I've typed all that I seem to remember something about graphics drivers not working very well but at that time updates for the xp-on-mac thing were being released 10 to the dozen so that could of changed by now.

DirectX wont work on a hacked OS/XP machine...

The processes (detailed here http://www.macworld.com/2006/03/firstlooks/xpmini/index.php) seems so complicated and convoluted, that only a masochist would attempt it - or an American...

They already have, Cinema 4D is the first 3D software to release a 100% fully working on an Intel mac, as they boasted in their newsletter saying 'We love iMac' And as soon as I get a job, and maybe after buying a holiday in Italy I'll get one as well as a PC to work DBP

Did you read my post? As sepp said they have already gone Intel (but at this time only released intel versions of the mini and powerbook).

@Bouncy - Hadn't seen that article, looks interesting. Thanks.
