Whats the best way to transmit 3d coordinates using DB should I stack a bunch of things into a memory block and transmit it that way or just send floating point values? also how do you manage the data specificaly when you have more then two players without mixing it all up? any code snipits or general help would be greatly appreciated!

just send the floating points...

work to this oki... a standard modem say 28.8kbps (which is roughly what US dialup users can get)

this means they can upload 14.4kbps and download 14.4kbps
14.4kbit = 1.800kbyte or 1,800bytes per second

so keep in mind this is the MAX data you can send and recieve per second before you start loosing packets and get major ping because its having to exceed the base data sent/received

i'm making food right now i'll post back in a little while some demo code (that is provided i can do it before Angel is on)
lemme know what your using DarkBasic Enhanced or Professional (it does make a major different)

I would have said the opposite Raven.

Apparently you are limited to one send per sync so it's better to send data in chunks - especially with the time it takes to transmit over a modem.

Still, I'll leave the code to you - I've not quite got a handle on the DBPro network stuff yet
