I was wondering how to make a link that has a diffrent name other than its web address like have one say "My Home Page" which is a link to lets say www.google.com

ok i tried it, and it didn't work for me,but it looks like what i was thinking, only if it worked and put my home page in blue. could you write the code so it is able to be clicked on, then put what you put in in the code snippet thing
below are my tries at it

Im pretty sure he's reffering to using the bb code on the forums to make a named link, in which case I dont believe these forums support it, but I could be wrong.

Ah, I guess it does

Use this syntax:

[ href = URL ] Alt Name [ /href ]

But remove the spaces, replace URL with the URL of the page (make sure you use the http:// prefix), and replace Alt Name with the desired name of the link.
