I have an awesome game I'm working on. It's one step from complete.
I need a plrinzone entity with spawn capabilities. reason being I want to control the "spawn at start" function just as with other entities. I tried editing the fpe file to no avail. Please, someone! Help me! With out this my entire game will be a bust.

Nue B. or not Nue B. That is the question.

Ok. Create a trigger zone where you want the player to be when the enemy spawns. Place the enemy where you want him to spawn. Right click him and set his "spawn at start" to NO.
Set Max at any time to 1
set number to spawn to 1
set maximum spawn to 1

Name the enemy "Surprise" (or whatever)
then Right click the trigger zone.

in it's "if used" box type "surprise"
then change it's main FPI to
"plrinzoneactivateused"

there ya go.
If you only want the event to occur once...try using my plrinzoneactivateonce script, available free from www.freewebs.com/peanutbutterfingers

Dang, read your post again. Did you mean you want a trigger zone that spawns?!

By default, the Trigger Zone uses plrinzone.fpi

Because the last state=1, and not returned to 0, the zone doesn't repeat.

Change the last line to add state=0

and the zone will reset after each use.

Be sure to rename the .fpi and change it in the AI Main.
