Hey, I have been looking on all different search engines, and can't find any pictures of the band members of the gorillaz (2d, Merdoc, Russel, and Noodle). Does anyone know where there are any pics, or literally are they a cartoon band (don't mean the music)? They must just not want anyone to see their acne.

You can catch glimpses of them in one of their music videos. (they're on the monitors in the background)

Also, one of them has their own records out, but i forget which one. pretty good stuff.

Damon Allbran was in Blur.

http://www.musicomh.com/interviews/damon-albarn.htm

he also did the 'Ravenous' soundtrack amongst other things

Damon and Jamie Hewlett were on Jonathan Ross's chat show a few weeks back.

I think they are the only permanent members and that the line up is an everchanging mish mash of musicians. But I may be wrong.

Yeah. Gorillaz is knwn as a virtual band. That´s what I think they call them. Only the writer/main singer and the artist are in the band. The rest are freelance.

I thought the four of them were the permenent members, and for some songs they had extra musicians come in.

I know that on their first album they had Damon Albarn from Blur, the lead singer girl from Cibo Matto (a NYC band that 99% of you have probably never heard of, except probably Jeku because he digs good music and Cattle and Refaze because they're from NY like me), and Del the Funky Homosapien... other than that, no clue

The lead singer from Cibo Matto was in Blur? Are you sure?

If so, that rocks. Cibo Matto is one of my favourite groups--- can't get enough of their music The bass player is Sean Lennon, and the two leads are Japanese girls--- can't go wrong with that hehehe...

No no, the lead singer of Cibo was in the Gorillaz. But yeah, they completely and totally rock. Who woulda thought that a song about chickens could be so friggin' cool I'd kill to see them play live again!

Blur? I know them. Fool, always hatin' on me. My favorite song by them is probably "Coping" from Modern Life is Rubbish.

Why make sense when you could make brownies?
