Here the game... Decompress the word alike a letter that stand a word, but when letter is compressed, it must be a stantence. Here the example:

word=World of retarded deer

The game will be hard, but the most compressed letters in a word will get a pat on the back.

Yes, which is why I suggested the Merriam Webster site, which is what we colonists visit to check on official American English (and get a .wav file for suggested pronunciation). If it is there, it IS an actual word. "Webster" was the first American lexicographer, who imposed the spelling differences some of the forum members find strange (e.g. color), and I have no idea or concern who Merriam was. For my part, when reading this particular forum I always keep a link to http://www.londonslang.com close at hand so I can get the drift of what some of the members are trying to say.
