Hi all,

First of all, if you feel like saying MACS SUX or WINDOZE IZ POOP please direct your mouse towards the back button. Why? Because your not comedian.

I know XP on Macs and Mac games have been thrown around the forums a bit in the last few days but I've just found this article and thought some of you might find it interesting.

It looks like overall performance wasn't anything amazing, but to be fair you are trying to run one of the most demanding games ever on a laptop. Personally, I think this could turn out to be a great boost to the games industry. I don't buy many pc games because I just don't enjoy playing games sat at a desk. Since I've got a laptop any money's just burnt a hole in my pocket until I go and spend it on a game, even if the game is 5 years old (just bought Diablo 2).

If I had a laptop that could play Oblivion reasonably well then there's an almost endless list of games it would play perfectly, games that Id want.

Unfortunately, I've just spent all £10 of my 'Intel Mac Fund' on Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 so it looks like I'll be waiting a while before I can try it out.

Its sounds like a good piece of performance, even if using PC games on a Mac appears to be slower than if they ran on a PC, but it still solves the problem between gamers and designers.

K I changed my name into a famous Samurai, but meh! Seppuku got boring after a while
