This is one of the more interesting blog sites--- if you can call it a blog. The editors write up a new article on interesting, uncommon things you may not have heard of, almost every day.

For example there's a great article on the The Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon, where you hear something new then repeatedly hear/see it again repeatedly, experiencing deja-vous.

There's also a fascinating article on a condition that's called, believe it or not, The Jumping Frenchman of Maine disorder. Definitely a must-read http://www.damninteresting.com/?p=447

Anyone else heard of the city in Pennsylvania that's been smoking, literally, since the early 1960s? http://www.damninteresting.com/?p=479

Anyways, just thought I'd share

Yes--- I am planning a trip to North Korea in the near future---- would love to see that building. Apparently it's not on any of the tours, though, and in N. Korea you can't exactly go anywhere without the tour guide's permission (and his following you around everywhere).

Yeah, I've read about how "safe" that country is in your Blog.

Hope you come back.

I went on a tour of the DMZ once. There's a building that's half way in North and South Korea. So, technically, I've been to North Korea.

They had to regulate the size of the flag used in the room because every time they'd meet, each side would bring a bigger flag than the other. Finally they got too big to even fit in the room.

Ah, you were on the S. Korean side of the DMZ? Cool. Too bad you aren't allowed to go to N. Korea, as they don't allow Americans (I assume you're American). One of the tour stops is the DMZ from the DPRK (N. Korea) side, where they have the tallest flag pole in the world hehehe.

Can't wait to go. It's the safest 3rd world country to be a tourist
