great work chris can i just ask what do you model in maya or gamespace ect.

My personal choice is currently gamespace but i find that the shape of the model becomes slightly destorted when imported to DBP and exported as a directx any ideas?

Anyways sorry to pick your brains

great work so far and i will definatly watch out for the progress.

take care and happy newyear all

i'm E.T i have so much tech but yet i dont have a mobile phone! where is a land line when you need one

@ The Core

Thank you for the comments. I use Deled for about 90% of my modelling. I find it user friendly and it has a built in lightmapper. It exports directly to dbo format which keeps the lightmap data intact for easy loading into my project. But I think what sold me on Deled was the 'merge' button. When making any object out of primitives you have an object with many entities. DBP doesnt like looking after too many objects in one place and the merge function takes all the entities of the object and makes one single object which helps my frames per second a lot. There are a load of good modelling packages available out there ive heard good things about 3DWS and Blender but I would say try out as many demo's as you can and see which works best for you.

Just tried DeleD again after seeing this and it has obviously come a long way since I last tried it! Thanks for mentioning it, it is absolutely brilliant. Not unlike your game! Great work!

Wow, amazing shots. This could almost pass for a pro game a few years ago. Awesome job, I hope you keep it up. Any more eye candy ?
