This picture is a map with a real time light map plus various colour roaming light effects applied. While, that's fair mouth full for my little Duron 800 to handle, it already running at a very handy 40-45fps in the latest MMX opt'd version of PlayBasic V1.31..

i've now added 16bit (565) support Alpha ADD / Blendimage. Bellow is variant of the previous spotlight demo. This time the light map is being added to the source image. The circle in the middle is a being masked off the lightmap. Which create a rather cool by product..

It's been available for a while now, but previously only supported 32 bit buffers. But now it accepts in 15bit /16bit and 32bit.

I bought PlayBasic over a month ago but I still haven't had chance to try it out yet. I get the impression that it is growing more and more powerful by the day!
I have a DBP project that I really want to get finished and it is the desire to get to grips with PlayBasic that is motivating me to hurry up.

Nice work Kevin
