i made a square that can move around via arrow keys but i cant make it shoot

the following code is whats supposed to be shooting.

the shot appears on the screen but its not moving anywhere

i still need to make camera orientation but can someone at least tel me how to make the shot shoot, go forward (without me holding the space bar)

ok so i know u got this yourself but just so other people know how.... u needed to move the move object command out of the if statement, like
so....
from

to

ofcourse this will make it so that u can only fire once (because of the if object exist() command) and the bullet won't stop moving.

life's one big game

maybe i can make multiple shooting projectiles which you can launch one after another and after they all reach a certain distance they can be returned and shot again.

well this is kinda complicated but is there a way to have it shoot for more than once?

learn about arrays. this way you can control a bunch of bullets with an array.

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 
