rofl. Oh, for the life of me, I do not get the joke. Nor do I understand in any shape or form what I just watched. Nor, can I possibly comprehend why you put that video up here man!! lol

Unique. That's the word.

haha... although it probably wasn't ment to be, but when you came in was by far the funniest bit mate. ^_^

definately more laid back than what my dad would've done; pretty sure the second he came in the only word you wouldn't need to bleep would be "shut" ... the rest would make a salior blush.

Well my daughters wanted to make a video for the web. They are heavily into Emo. They go on Myspace a lot. On Myspace they know someone called Owen, and they have friends who look exactly like Owen. So I said that they could make a video of themselves looking on the computer at pictures of boys, and saying that they look like Owen. However they decided to make the film in their bedroom, without the computer. It looks kind of strange that way, but anyway I thought it was funny. I think they are going to continue with this theme of The emo sisters, and hopefully get better at making a storyline, although it was a bit noisy.

I don't mind them being Emo. In fact I think that Emo is a good fashion. There is an opening for all sorts of things, like Emo games, emo clothes, emo music. For somebody interested in the entertainment industry it is great! I am interested in films, music, games, and fashion, and see a great potential that has not been totally swamped yet.

It doesn't seem to be from my angle. I was imagining it on Absolutely Fabulous, and seeing if it would be funny, and it seemed to be funny in that scenario. Maybe it is down to taste, because some people find it funny, and others don't. I don't know, but I will make sure that the next video has a real storyline.

Theyre saying that because all emo kids look the same.

real emo kids wouldnt tape themselves at all probably...

Pincho i dont think emo is the word your looking for, theyre a bit scene sure, because theyre doing it for the fashion and the music... but emo is kind of like the modern day bohemian, and they usually really dont have alot of friends.

but for the sake of forum fun i made this little picture to comment peoples models and pictures with.

EDIT: I dunno what you guys think an emo kid is, but since its short for emotional I imagine a kid who dresses his own way and does his hair to the side as sort of an artistic fashion type look. I believe he would do this because it was his own iddea and not because all the kids on the internet dress like that. I think a real emo kid would write poetry, probably sad poetry, just like the bohemians and not care what other people thought.

Of course now everyone dresses like that and they call that scene.

Basically a trend follower. If you want to watch a local band perform live, you'll be surrounded by them, as well as be watching them, as well as probably being them. I made the mistake of going to a local show with some friends, and boy was I sorry. The only decent band was the one with no one watching because it wasn't about killing black bloody hearts or crying or screaming or something. Oh well, no biggie, nothin missed out on

The posts under the video are mostly from Owen's friends who thought that the video was taking the P*** out of him. Although the video was not really taking the P***, it was just saying that a lot of people look like Owen.

Ahh ... the emo ...

You know a magnitude of socially inept minors will endevour to follow that diagram completely in a vain attempt to gain acceptance. Utterly oblivious to the fact they are slaves to yet another fashion that they believe is different, failing to grasp that the fact that they are adhering to the guidelines of said fashion makes them sheep. And in their deepest throws of self dellusion believing they are rebelling and being expressive, they are simply mimicking yet another pointless sham of a sub-culture in an attempt to gain acceptance from a smaller group of peers - one that they have a high probabilty of winning over, due to their own lack of social standing. Ultimately, they will grow out of it, or, like so many before them, take a lonely and thoroughly demoralised trip to Beachy Head where the cries of the long lost lemmings eriely echo atop the cliff breeze. "Jump ... jump little emo". And believing that this, their one true choice and one true voice of self expression, they will throw themselves to their deaths, screaming as they fall "Emo! Emo!", before hitting the ground like an ugly vase slurping into a giant vatt of farm slurry. And at their funeral, people will shed tears and talk about what a lovely young person they were, and how much they had to live for, while secretly hiding the fact they knew they were worthless scum and had personalities as tasteful as soiled underwear and as diverse as a turnip. And once lowered into the ground, the maggots and worms will turn their noses up at them, for fear of getting scabies of the mouth. Wrigglings to escape as the juices leak into the soil, festing all living creature and mineral it comes in contact with until the whole world then universe is infected. Eventually triggering the appocolypse, destroying everything the mind can and cannot fathom leaving nothing but a tiny imp called Derik, wondering where everyone has gone. "Heelllo!!! Helloooo! Is anyone out there?!?!?"

No, Derik. The universe is gone.

... just felt like a bit of creative writing. That's all. Who wants to make the game? My crazy msg is not directed at your kids Pincho!

Emos in the US are self absorbed whiners. They usually post on those "I am sorry for bush" sites, and complain about nothing. They are...Chavs.
