DarkBASIC Discussion / AI for a sphere

Im new to dark basic and im currently making a small test level, the level is basically a small flat matrix with boxes played around the level and I want to make a computer controlled sphere move around the level and if it collides with a box it turns around. I want to give my sphere basic AI i have searched the code base and help files in dark basic and didn’t find anything so I thought I would pitch my question to the forum.

AI is a huge subject and can range from the very basic "rotate the sphere a random amount, move it until it hits something (or the edge of the matrix), rotate it a random amount and repeat", to advanced pathfinding routines.

I'd start with the simple form first and when you have that more or less working, take a look at the following web page:

As I said I am new to dark basic and even the basic AI seems over my head, im not really sure hot to start off is it possible some one could give my an example : ) thanks

p.s TDK I just downloaded your editor and its amazing its so much better than dark edit witch iv been using up until now. Good work
