any way while your here keith want to ask your advice

i am wanting to make some standard us military models

helicopters

gunships

troopcarriers

and such

can you give me some technical names for these vehicles

also

standard issue weapons would be cool too

that why i can track down some orthagraphic images on google to model from

Possibly a few of them (if I can remember the proper nomenclature). I was a Diesel truck mechanic (heavy wheeled).
