Lol some of the threads around here really are random

Why do you care what games we like , the only reason I could think of posting this would be to gather marketing info but that would be biased.

Ohwell, FPS for me (I prefer the sneaking type more than the barge in and kill all, but hey, when the time comes, gotta' do what you gotta' do).

Right on! Jack the Ripper 3 was an awesome game, although the ragdoll physics wasn't really necessary seeing as all the enemies were already lying down.

I meant the game, to go along with fallout joke hence the picture of the whore from the game. One thing i've always found strange is that all games are played from the point of the hero or saviour why not have a game where you play the killer.

I mean sure there are games where you kill people. But i mean a game where you are a serial killer/murderer and have to watch you victim to learn there daily patterns to find the most opportune time to kill them. All while trying to evade police (AI) where they are trying to catch you from the clues you leave behind at the scene of the crimes.

Strictly speaking, in games like GTA you're not a good guy. I mean, I routinely run pedestrians over, so I'm definitely the bad sort. Oh, and I sleep with hookers then beat them to death to get my money back. And I ram into cops at traffic lights then gun them down when they get out of the car.

So yeah, there are games where you play the bad guy. Although I think the idea of a serial killer game where you plot to murder innocent people in cold blood might be a bit hardcore. I'm pretty sure the press/government would have a field day with it!

I know but shouldn't this be the next logical step in pushing the violence level in video games i mean everything else has pretty much already been done. I'm actually surprised that no one has tried it yet.

I like all kinds of games - FPS, sports, etc.

My favorite is ....drumroll.... RPGs!

Of course, my goal is to create something of a 3rd person shooter RPG. A hybrid that is unique yet familiar.

I like FPS games like Battlefield where you've got vehicles and a semi-realistic war environment. Then I like the uber-realistic FPS games like the Rainbow 6 series (I was once a Rogue Spear god but my favorite map was "Ruined City" so no one would play with me lol). I also dig sleuthy-type games, like Metal Gear, games where you *can* kill everything in site but there isn't really a point. Then I like *some* rts's, like Civilization, and some sim games like, well, the Sims. The only sports game I really enjoy is Fight Night and I haven't played an RPG since either Fallout 2 or FF7 came out, whichever was the most recent
