I'v been seraching on Google.com now for a while but cant find any guides that teach me how to learn to make 2D house,chars and all the other stuff for me games. So as the subject says...

How you make them depends on the angle that you are looking at them from. I mean, Zelda 2D buildings are isometric, and Grand Theft Auto 1 is different yet again.

Mostly I would use Anim8or to render most 2D buildings. With textures drawn in Photoshop. But for doom you would use Plains for the beasts probably.

Dude i looked at Anim8or. It is a nice application.

Now i dont know what i want to use lol.

For Krait in the shoot em up competition I made a DB Classic building generator. DB makes the skyscrapers from random windows, random walls, random number of floors, random width, random height. It also positions tables, and chairs, filing cabinets, doors, and paints the inside random colours. Then I just press print screen to make it 2D. And paste it in an art package. Each building was made from hundreds of components, even down to the girders inside the building. And Van B made a random rubble generator for the rubble on the ground.
