Heh, kinda funny how Fallout and I both seemed to come out with a new choon at the same time

http://www.provosmusic.com/music/provos_-_Dreamseeker.mp3

his one's been stuck in production limbo forever, I've only spent a few days on it total and yet it's been sitting on my desktop for a couple of months now. Dug it out and finished it a couple of days ago. It's deep and atmospheric, yet quite melodic at the same time, vaugely celtic sounding... yum. Hope you likey

Smooth background action mate. I know a lot of people go "that'd make good compo game music" but I seriously reckon that'd be awesome atmospheric background music for a really rich environment atmosphere. It reminds me of some of the cyberpunk deus-ex style choonage (but better cos they were slightly tacky mods) that did really well at giving the game a strong sci-fi conspiracy atmosphere.

Good stuff.

Edit: It's just looped round twice more and I find myself looking for my next augmentation canister.

Wow, great song Hawkeye Makes me a bit jealous as I haven't been able to write anything with a decent melody in 3 or 4 years

What software do you use, if any?

Hey chaps, thanks for teh comments. I used Reason 3.0 - same software as you, Jeku, if I remember correctly

I can't remember what I had in mind when I wrote this - probably something involving a girl >.< Listening to it again right now, I kinda wish I'd found the courage to add a second voice to the melody - the flute is cool, but it needs something else. Wahhhh. I'm a failure

Heh, thanks mon. If I have a problem, it's brutally critizing my music after finishing a piece.. I get the weird urge to compare my work with people who've spent a few years on a track and have payed countless dollars to get professionals to master their track within an inch of it's life
