hi,im trying to improve my framerate in games i play & when i run my own dbp program.ive been thinking about upgrading my ram & upgrading my video card to a higher video memory video card.


i just wanted to ask. if i do these two things will this improve my video card & pcs power toward framerate & help eliminate choppiness in games??

you didnt post your computer specs.

if your overall computer is to far behind in technology then adding ram and video cards will only show a small performance gain.

if you are using an onboard video card and goto a dedicated card then you will see a performance gain depending on the card.

if you have 256 or 512 megs of ram at the moment and running XP adding a little more will improve speed slightly when running programs that require a little more ram.

you should post your computer specs however to get a proper evaluation.
we cant guess what rig you have.

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 

Sounds like a laptop to me.

Upgrading graphics card in a laptop is nigh on impossible.

yea its obviously a laptop because they dont sell "go" cards.
