There is yet another editor in the works to provide more competition.(Seems there is too many only half done).

It will be donationware. This editor is planned to provide basic functionality as the standard IDE for the basic version, except for the nice quality of destroying hours of hard work at random., with many extra features to be unlocked by a donation.

The first extras planned would be a gui dll, and project encryption so no one can jack with your code when you are at work or school.

Donations are not set, a donation of any size will get you a key to unlock all added features when they become available. So if you can only donate 1 cent, that still qualifies you for your key.

This will be closed source, but open for voting, for the next feature(s) by donators only.

We shall welcome your comments about this type of software and there is a screenshot of Ver. Alpha .02 in the download button off to your right.

When we have done enough testing to make sure it won't destroy your hard work we will offer the continued work in progress for download to test out.

That text is rather large, and I'm wondering....what language is this written in? Good luck, but I personally wouldn't post a WIP editor until all the basic functionality is there and it can compile a dbp proejct.

@Nicholas Thompson, you can choose any font you have installed on your windows system. Its arial black(12) there as I was tired and my eyes were blurry.

@Sergy K, no it does not require .net, it was first written in DarkBasicPro, now its being ported and written in powerbasic,and so far just uses standard windows controls.

Also win 98-ME are not planned for support as I don't have those OS anymore and inhouse testing cannot be done.

Yes, the competition is to get an IDE without bloat or strange bugs.

I don't know whats wrong with Blue, it just doesn't appeal to me.

Synergy uses bloat, its just not time for the .net engine yet for running a directx engine. It eats up your ram.

The original editor destroys hours of work at random no matter how you decide to operate it.

The more editors in the works usually means faster completion of the said unfinished ones.

actually the dbp editor doesnt randomly delete code, ive used a few other ide`s but i still prefer the default ide because its just not filled with all the crap the other ide`s have, all i want is to code not have 100tabs that are useless to me, or some stupid commands window popup as im typing.

well i got around 10 bugs with the default ide.. dont know why.. =/

is there a problem with keywords popup window? lol
well, in my ide, it makes the teh programming lil bit easyer.. cuz you are able to see the teh parameters of each command that way..

so do I, what really bugs me is that when Gil and I swithc codes (Popr game) the IDE does not save the last modified code or it misses some code or whatever, so we can't send .dba files to eachother :/ we have to put it up on the forum.. so the whole game is open source on the forum if you manage to find a way in that is.

anyway.. blueide rockz.

It is adjustable, those are the colors I like to code with. Its not stuck that way.
