OK I just learned how to a create a player animation correctly.

My question If I have a play walking and a player jumping. How do I switch between animation. I mean I have 2 player files.
One walking and one shooting. Do I have to load every animation into a single file or do I have a separate file for each diff one.

If so how do you swicth between diff models.

Usually people just save every animation into one model. Then say the walking animation is from frames 0 to 100, and the jumping animation is frames 101 to 200, when it comes time to jump you switch to playing frames 101 to 200, when you're done you switch back to the walking frames.

Loading in multiple objects like that that's only difference is the animations isnt good practise, it just bogs up your game increasing the lag by quite a bit if you get into a bunch of animations and a high poly character.
