I dont wanna be rude - but I'd retract that straight away...
1) Its not a site, its a page
2) You technically didn't set it up, Frontpage "did"... (and I say "did" because of point 3)
3) Take a look at the code... What the hell?! (EDIT, ok not even this forum will display the code in a codebox that goes on your page... Take a look at line 23 of the HTML)
4) Its not that good imho.

I know you're young and learning - but you might want to actually make something to be proud of and THEN tell people. Others will duely flame this to a crisp.

Some good places to learn:
http://www.w3schools.com - That site is GOD. It will teach you all the essentials

Good luck!

Frontpage is the WORST. I can't believe that they include it in the Microsoft Office Suite. It generates hundreds of lines of crap. I'd rather use notepad than that monstrosity.

I just use forntpage to arrange my tables the right way. Other than that, I code by hand.

No, it's a site.

And yes, a better design alternative would probably be notepad, so you can directly get control over CSS and whatnot.

One good place to look for desings is http://www.oswd.org/ Its quite easy to tune some layout look just like you want. Its also easy to add those sites. But sites exist for content, so that's the way to go first.

I made my first site in notepad using html, they were ugly framethings with black and white. Frontpage creations could not be used becouse they crashed my schools computers (Microsoft: IE + FrontPage WTG). My current site is made from desing I got from OSWD, I think its my best page so far: http://tachyon.arkku.net/

Btw, I found it fun to browse other peoples websites, and I see there are many out there who like to get more visitors, so why not to make up a post In Geek Culture in which you can post a link to your site. Im too shy to make a new post so here is idea to someone.

I have proudly never used a HTML editor. Too much useless code, and it doesn't hurt to get those extra few brain cells going to take the time to learn HTML yourself.

crimson editor IS notepad, but with highlighing for many different languages. c, java, php, html, asp, delphi, and many more. you can also add keyword files, and shortcuts like F4 and F5 so it can also work as a DBC/P IDE.

I use Dreamweaver / Notepad for any of my coding but I have actually found a use for Frontpage! It does a great job at editing sharepoint pages. Infact, in the new version of office, Frontpage has been renamed to Sharepoint Designer

This forum could really do with a thread about how to go about making a decent website, even just compiling all the info from the various "Look at my Site" threads would help.

On the other hand, web dev seems to be developing so quickly it would take severe editing to keep up to date. And we all know not everyone reads the stickies.

I'd do it myself, but I'd only end up misinforming people.

I'm sure no-one here means to intentionally try and be rude.

If you use the forums search feature and look for something like 'website' you'll find there are plenty of people who have made the same mistakes as you. If you read through a few of those threads you'll find loads of helpful info on making your site better.

Nobody is being rude - they're being honest. There is a big difference If you dont want people to express an opinion on your work then do NOT submit it to a forum Which is defined as a place for open discussion!

I think that's actually a really good idea. People around here sure could use the help. I'm not qualified to make such a tutorial myself.
