I had hoped to be able to read it whilst out, but alas its non-appearance prevented that from happening - and I had to buy a computer magazine instead

Yesterday (May 1st) it was the 'No Work' day in France. Maybe it's the same in UK?

Yes, it has already been mentioned that yesterday was a Bank Holiday in the UK and Rich said newsletter would be one day late.

What is ironic that is if anyone else posts a 'where's the newsletter' thread, a Mod, such as Nicholas, comes down on it like a ton of bricks and tells them not be so impatient.

Anyway 11 hours 38 minutes to midnight for the deadline...

I thought Rich said the newsletter would always be the first of every month, no matter what - hence the reason for the post.

TGC Speak:
The newsletter will be delayed by one day due to the bank holiday.

Reality:
The newsletter will be delayed by one day due to Rich taking a day off to appreciate Animal Crossing DS, the lovely weather, the slower pace of his pregnant wife, the 6 cans of Stella left-over from Saturday... Damn it's easy to think of excuses for skiving work at this time of year!.

my bros baby girl is 3.

Im a professional batchelor, my gf is too young anyway to think about kids.
I like kids, but god help me if I ever tried one on for size.
I couldnt do it, I have way too much social life and work to do.
maybe when im 40 i will consider it,
I like sleep and a tidy house too much.

We have about 5 public holidays on monday around this year in Australia.
its like a month of long weeeeekkkeeends
We just celebrated labour day with a free monday off.
Perhaps they have something similar in the UK, but a different reason to celebrate,

Damn, my son is 10 now, your all making me feel old, regardless of the fact that I'm probably younger than Indi, Rich, and Cattle. Personally I would'nt advise anyone under 25 to have kids, those first 25 years of your life should be yours, kids are great when your old enough to deal with all the stress and problems that arise, I don't relish any young parents jobs these days.

Cork them till they reach 25 I say!

Good luck to Rich + Wife + Kiddie, if the newsletter is delayed because of her pesky labour, then we'll understand .

I don't know which mod it was in particular, but they did make a public thread saying "stop asking about the newsletter".

"Life"? Can I get one of those on Ebay?

Seriously though, I consider my life to have started the day I moved out and came to college. Still not much of one though, not until I am finished here in 3 years or so.

I don't think life starts until after University, unless you're paying your own way through.

But if you're still living off mommy and daddy's dime, then you're still not independant, no matter how far away from them you live

Since you musn't be literall all the time, what he means is that once he is out of the house, his life will start. And your sense of humor is quite stupid, refering that he isn't going to move out of his house. But yes, if you have to be literal he is living right now.

Ok it's finally released. Ordinarily I wouldn't let a little event like a bank holiday stop it from being finished, but this time it did. No my wife wasn't to blame, the baby is still (firmly) inside of her, although not for much longer. We're expecting an apperance any day now. Depending how long she lasts it might delay issue 41! but if she's on time, it won't.

Am too whacked to post a forum sticky about issue 40 (or update the main tgc site), so will do that when I wake up after mucho sleepo.
