A 1914 film....
and all I have to say is wonderful.....Iam like laughing at the thing....sooo funny....like the parts with the slaves dancing.....great stufff..
anyway anyone seen it?

From the tech standpoint at the time it was regarded as an achievement. On the plot end, I would NOT recommend using it as a model for a game. It idolizes a terrible and shameful era of American history. See the description at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Birth_of_a_Nation

This film is incredibly racist and unbeliveably innaccurate (historically, it does actualy protray what people did think back then). We watched a part of it in my History class to see how the KKK was vied by different groups of people.
